DTR TECHNOLOGIES, LLC

Company History

Messrs. Don Moore and Tommy Shadrack founded Downtown Radio in 1963.  The partnership was dissolved in 1967 when Don Moore purchased Tommy Shadrack's interest in the Company.

William K. (Bill) Parker purchased the business from Don Moore in 1971, after working with Mr. Moore for one year, four months.  Bill incorporated the business in 1975.

Grant L. Mobley and William D. (Bill) Bobby purchased the business from William K. (Bill) Parker in May 2004 and changed the name to: DTR Technologies, LLC.

Growth and expansion of products, product lines, and services have prompted the Company's relocations.  From 1963 to 1968, the Company was located at 20th and Broadway; in 1968 Don Moore relocated the business to 514 13th Avenue.  During 1974, Bill Parker moved to the 10th and Federal location, which was the landmark until 1985 when the Company moved to its current location at 2525 West 6th Avenue.

Although other opportunities have come and gone over the years, these stand out as representative of our stature within the industry.

Much of the Company's success can be attributed to the commitment and dedication to "Same Day - Next Day" turnaround of product and service requests.  Our past, present, and future goal is to provide a level of excellence that manufacturers and customers recognize as "One-of-a-Kind Service."

Today we receive products and service requests from service centers and dealers predominantly located west of the Mississippi River.  We do, however, sell parts in every state, and have billed international orders in the United Kingdom, Australia, and the West Indies.

Through the years, our growth has been exciting and dynamic.  There is every expectation it will continue.
