Q. How do I know when to drop the 1st digit on a GPOP order and when to order with a Z or 0?
A. All body computers and instrument clusters require a 0. All radios require a Z. If the model is more than 8 digits long, drop the first character.
Q. How do I update VIN information with the correct radio?
A. When a VIN needs to be updated, contact your Service DM.
Q. What if I won't have a core to return due to theft, fire, damage, etc.?
A. When you know there won't be a core, the unit needs to be purchased, not ordered as an exchange.
Q. What if I ordered an exchange with incorrect mileage?
A. If mileage is incorrect, contact your Service DM. The Zone Warranty Manager has to make the correction to the vehicle file.
Q. How long do I need to wait for core credits from Chrysler?
A. Allow up to 90 days for core credit to appear on your account.
Q. What if I haven't been credited for cores and it has been longer than 90 days?
A. If you haven't been credited, check with DTR first to make sure we received your core. Then check with your Service DM.
Q. How much will an exchange cost?
A. You can look up pricing on GPOP system through Parts Inquiry - be sure to use the same part number you used to order the exchange.
Q. What if I'm charged to Returned Not Used units?
A. Units that have shown up on your parts statement must be reversed through your Chrysler Zone Representative. DTR can supply proof of the unused unit.
